Study the Platform XXV of XXXII

Hi, this is Marsha from Loveheals.us
Come study the platform with me from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy in the chapter called Science of Being, page 330. We’ll take one part of the platform each week for the next 32 weeks. We’ll read the words Mrs. Eddy has given us. Then, I’ll share with you some ideas that have come to me and then you get to share your ideas in the blog online in the comment area below.
If you know anyone who might like to participate in this exercise, please forward this to them to have them subscribe to my website.
If you miss some, you can catch up by going to the menu at the top
called “Study the Platform“.

XXV. (Man reflects the perfect God) God is individual and personal in a scientific sense, but not in any anthropomorphic sense. Therefore man, reflecting God, cannot lose his individuality; but as material sensation, or a soul in the body, blind mortals do lose sight of spiritual individuality. Material personality is not realism; it is not the reflection or likeness of Spirit, the perfect God. Sensualism is not bliss, but bondage. For true happiness, man must harmonize with his Principle, divine Love; the Son must be in accord with the Father, in conformity with Christ. According to divine Science, man is in a degree as perfect as the Mind that forms him. The truth of being makes man harmonious and immortal, while error is mortal and discordant. S&H 336: 32

Marsha: To blindly believe in material sensation and personality (or soul in the body) is to “lose sight of spiritual individuality.” “For true happiness, man must harmonize with his Principle, divine Love; the Son must be in accord with the Father, in conformity with Christ.” We can accomplish this when we strive to maintain a spiritual perspective in our day to day living. Judging righteous judgment is when we see what God sees and know what God knows and this helps us not lose sight of spiritual individuality. Mrs. Eddy sums it up in the words of one of her seven hymns, Love, “For Love alone is Life”.
