Study the Platform XVI of XXXII

Hi, this is Marsha from Loveheals.us
Come study the platform with me from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy in the chapter called Science of Being, page 330. We’ll take one part of the platform each week for the next 32 weeks. We’ll read the words Mrs. Eddy has given us. Then, I’ll share with you some ideas that have come to me and then you get to share your ideas in the blog online in the comment area below.
If you know anyone who might like to participate in this exercise, please forward this to them to have them subscribe to my website.
If you miss some, you can catch up by going to the menu at the top
called “Study the Platform“.

XVI. (Eternity of the Christ) This was “the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world,” — slain, that is, according to the testimony of the corporeal senses, but undying in the deific Mind. The Revelator represents the Son of man as saying (Revelation 1. 17, 18): “I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead [not understood]; and, behold, I am alive for evermore,
[Science has explained me].” This is a mystical statement of the eternity of the Christ, and is also a reference to the human sense of Jesus crucified. S&H 334: 21

 Marsha: St. Paul said: “For I determined not to know anything among you, save JesusChrist, and him crucified.”(I Cor. ii. 2.)
Christian Science says: I am determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ, and him glorified. S&H 200: 25
The Christ is forever…

(The Christ) comes to give thee joy for desolation,
Beauty for ashes of the vanished years;
For every tear to bring full compensation,
To give thee confidence for all thy fears.

 (The Christ) comes to call the dumb to joyful singing;
The deaf to hear; the blinded eyes to see;
The glorious tidings of salvation bringing.
O captive, rise, thy Saviour comes to thee.
Christian Science Hymnal 412
